Executive Producer
Richard Stewart has a film career spanning some 30 years. His recent history includes:
Appointed first Executive Director of the State of Queensland Film Commission now known as Screen Queensland. During this period he developed the pre-eminent wards for filmmaking in the State, the Qld New Filmmakers Awards, the Brisbane International Film Festival, the Revolving Film Financing Fund and the Pacific Film and Television Commission (now called Screen Queensland)
Richard was the first Chair of the Brisbane International Film Festival and was a key figure in the development and execution of what is now a key cultural and entertainment event in the State, having recently celebrated its 18th year.
Richard was the first Director from the Asia Pacific region of the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI) the controlling body of Film Commissions.
He left Australia in the nineties to become Chief Executive of the New Zealand Film Commission This agency is dedicated to the development, production and distribution of quality New Zealand Films. During this period two of the countries most successful independent films, Once Were Warriors by Lee Tamahori and Heavenly Creatures by Peter Jackson were produced and distributed. Also whilst at the New Zealand Film Commission he Executive Produced a number of films including a multi picture slate which enjoyed considerable box office success – Scarfies, Savage Honeymoon, Stickmen, Via Satellite and Snakeskin.
Upon returning to Australia he established the film and television production company Stewart and Wall Entertainment with fellow producer Penny Wall. Richard was Chair of the Limelight Group until his resignation in April 2009. He is now Chief Executive of the newly formed company MFP Media Management and Managing Director of Stewart and Wall Entertainment.

Richard has also been a teaching fellow at Bond University and the Queensland University of Technology in Australia lecturing in film finance, distribution and marketing. He is a Board member of QPIX and a judge of the annual Warner Roadshow New Filmmakers Awards

Penny has wide-ranging production experience in the Australian motion picture and television industries since 1976. Penny’s credits include
Producer for the chilling, theatrical thriller drama Acolytes
Producer for the 26 episode half hour Children’s Television Series titled K-9
Producer for a series of three animated children’s feature films in 2006 entitled Planet Rescue Rangers: Dangerous Demons; Deep Sea Danger and Planet in Peril.
Associate Producer in 2003 to Australia’s first 3D animated long form Children’s Television Series (27 x 24mins) The Shapies for the Australian Nine Network
Co-producer in association with Warner Roadshow Studios Australia a 16 part Children’s Drama Television Series titled Animal Park.
Associate Producer for the motion picture Sons of Steel (Best film, Festival de L’imaginaire, France).
Supervising Line Producer for a series of eight MOW’s titles: Watch the Shadows Dance; The Edge of Power; I’ve Come About the Suicide; Outback Vampires; Computer Ghosts; Rock ‘n’ Roll Cowboys; Hard Knuckle and Future Past.
Penny is a Director of THEpostWORKS, an Australian based post-production company which post produced such projects as the German based feature film Artistic Views and the motion picture Collision Course for Croc Man Productions and MGM.
Penny has served as a guest lecturer in film management workshops at the Queensland University of Technology and Griffith University of Queensland..
Penny was an inaugural Board member of QPIX, the Queensland Film Screen Resource Centre. She is an honorary member of the Australian Cinematography Society and has been honoured with the Australian Cinematography Society’s 2001 Award for Services to the Film Industry.

Development Executive
Emma Gibbs is an emerging Producer and screen industry professional, dedicated to developing well-told and universally appealing creative product.
Emma has a been working with Stewart & Wall Entertainment since 2008, fulfilling the role of Producer’s Assistant on the Dr Who kids spin off series K9, and managing the company’s projects and development slate.
She has a Bachelor of Creative Industries: Television (Film) - Distinction, from the Queensland University of Technology in 2009.
Emma recently completed The Tooth Demon, a short film produced for QPix which featured the work of Emmy Award winners, Composer Christopher Elves and Jason Baird (MUA VFX). The Tooth Demon is a dark twist on the tooth fairy fairytale, entirely in spoken verse, about a spoilt young brat getting her comeuppance that will be hitting the international festival circuit in 2012.
Emma has also trained with Robert McKee and Michael Hague in screenwriting and story analysis, developing and writing feature, television and transmedia content and is very committed to further integrating multiplatform and marketing content into the company's slate as a key element of the storytelling process.
